Here is a promotional video that I produced in After Effects to show of what kind of work I do and to advertise my website. It was actually a good chance to try out some different techniques and learn more about editing in After Effects. Here is the end result:
What do you guys think?
Hey all, I wanted to see if anyone could help out here. Two of my mates are planning to walk the Pennie way (270 miles) in support for Cancer Research and would like to ask for your support too. If you could, a donation would be mostly appreciated, no matter how small.
On the 22nd August 2009, 2 brave young men are to attempt a long, perilous trek. They will have to overcome obstacles, they will not be able to wash for days on end, they will have to poo in a hole and cover it up, and they will have to live on spam and crisps. The walk is the 270 mile Pennine way.

Why have TV advertisers insisted on adding “Search for <product name>” instead of the URL of their website on the bottom of TV adverts? I’m not complaining, I was just wondering why this trend is becoming popular? I assume it is so the user can find the relevant page on their website quickly, but depending on the search engine that the user uses, might not turn up the results that they were looking for. Surely they would want to ensure that the user ends up on their own website, where they can portray a biased view on that product; not what other websites have to say about it. Or maybe the company is so confident in their product, the user will only find raving reviews regarding it? I still think that just including their URL would be more beneficial to be honest.
Hey, just a quick update.
I have finally gotten around to making use of my deviantART account. I have had it for years, but never actually used it. I have now finally updated it and uploaded a lot of my photos – a selection of which are available to buy as prints.

I have been given an absolutely amazing tablet laptop, the HP tx2050ea. It has a touch screen display with a Wacom active digitiser (meaning that you can use both your fingers and a pen). It is only small, but that is a good thing – it is great for taking notes on (especially with the pen) and doing work while on the go. It has some great system specs, ideal for pretty much anything (apart from intense gaming of course – but retro gaming is still awesome).

Also, just to add – I have been having some problems with the 404 errors. If you accidentally end up on a none existent page, then instead of seeing an error message, you get a page of HTML coding instead. I am aware of this, and it is down to my webhost’s fault – I don’t know if and when this will be fixed.
