Alpha-Lite Productions

The main website has now been updated and revamped with the name of ‘Alpha-Lite Productions’. It is still not 100% complete but it is pretty much there now, just a few things to finish off and iron out (such as finishing the portfolio). If you do find any bugs or other errors, please contact me. This is a much more professional approach than I had previously; ensuring that all information is now easily accessible and easy to find.

Alpha-Lite Productions is ran solely by Jamie Oliver who offers freelance multimedia solutions including web design, graphic/publication design, still photography and moving image production.

Update: I have now updated my portfolio and tweaked the website to run smoother. I have also added some steps to reduce pesky spam messages being sent though my contact form.

Please spread the word and help Alpha-Lite Productions to flourish. Thanks.

At the moment a complete mirror of the blog is on both domains, and so things may not work 100% but will be sorted out shortly. I am doing this to make way for a new portfolio on the main domain, to allow my work to be easily accessed without any confusion. This will also be a more professional approach, whereas my blog is more of a casual approach.

I have added three new photos to the Nature gallery, taken Friday evening while I was out walking with my girlfriend. Opinions?

UPDATE: Added even more photos – Created a new gallery, ‘The Roaches‘ and added a new photo to the Nature gallery. Also updated the album/gallery descriptions and other small tweaks.

I have also updated the Work/Projects page, and more will be added soon.

Also my first lot of exams are now over, so I have a week off to spend chilling with my girlfriend. We are going to go watch Indiana Jones 4 on Wednesday, and we are going to Alton Towers on Thursday. Should be a great week before I get back I have to do my Media Studies exams.

I have made it ready to add any future photos I take. This isn’t a plugin or anything, I have coded it myself – it is only basic and it is a manual system, with the help of the Lightbox script. Opinions/suggestions anyone?

And I have my first AS Exam on Monday, eek – still need to get some more revision done, but I find it hard to.

UPDATE: I have noticed a bug on the site (thanks to Tom for pointing it out) that caused it to display most of the page with strike-through text. It appeared to be due to WordPress adding a “del datetime” tag (thanks to Torsten) which wasn’t closed properly, but I have removed it and added some CSS to stop it from being a strike-through in the future.
